“Incorporating Recovery-Oriented Care in Clinical work”
Presented by Dr. Winetta Baker, LMFT
Have you found yourself asking: “What is this ‘Recovery Model’ that everyone keeps talking about?”, “Is this something that I have to use?” If you have asked these questions, you are not alone. As our state sharpens its focus on treatment of the severely-mentally ill and MFT programs prepare for changes in their curriculum, many students, clinicians and supervisors are asking these questions. This workshop will orient attendees to the core principles of Recovery-Oriented Care and share some of the ways these principles are being utilized to change the practice of MFT clinicians and supervisors. Real-life examples will be utilized to demonstrate Recovery-Oriented Care principles in motion.
