AAMFT-CA Division is the professional MFT association in California that has the resources to prepare you for the future. We are aware of what’s ahead and we have developed programs and services to take you where you need to be going. As such, the AAMFT-CA Certification programs have been developed to give you an “edge” in tomorrow’s marketplace.
After listening to the country’s leaders in health reform and talking with California’s leading mental health employers, we have identified training needs and responded to them in the form of educational programs. Our certification programs will broaden your knowledge and provide you with the skills that will both make you more marketable and enhance your effectiveness as a clinician. The programs now available include:

Both of these programs provide extra, relevant training in areas of expertise needed within our evolving, comprehensive systems of care. Your certification will ensure a current or future employer that you have the extra knowledge and skills they need in response to their efforts to comply with changing regulations and structures of healthcare delivery. The AAMFT-CA Certification programs are self-paced.
